Bureaucrats 'deny the evidence, Hydroxychloroquine reduces death by 73 per cent': Craig Kelly

Liberal MP Craig Kelly says studies have shown a 73 per cent reduction rate in mortality where Hydroxychloroquine was dispensed to COVID infected patients, yet Australian health bureaucrats continue to deny the evidence.

Mr Kelly said on Thursday an Italian peer-reviewed study showed a 73 per cent reduction of mortality where Hydroxychloroquine was administered.

A further study from Saudi Arabia produced the same figure – Hydroxychloroquine caused a 73 per cent reduction in death from COVID.

He told Sky News host Alan Jones early in the coronavirus pandemic period, doctors were free to prescribe Hydroxychloroquine to patients for off label use.

“It’s a drug that is lawful for doctors to use,” Mr Kelly said.

“We’ve got health bureaucrats in this country who think they know better than thousands upon thousands of doctors all around the world, and have banned this.”

Andrews is responsible for the ‘most savage devastation’ in the world: Jones

Sky News host Alan Jones says the “know-all dictator” Daniel Andrews has overseen the most savage response in the world causing the most savage devastation, both financial and non-financial.

Mr Jones said his “heart bleeds” for Victorians as up to 1.3 million are expected to be on JobKeeper in the December quarter while contributing 723 of the country’s 816 deaths.

The state is also under extreme stage four lockdowns, including a unprecedented curfew which is set to continue until at the very earliest October 26.

The premier has based the restrictions on modelling which, against the outcry of politicians and professionals alike, his government has refused to release.

“They won’t, because Andrews thrives on the psychology of fear,” Mr Jones said.

.UK Strikes Historic Free Trade Deal With Japan As Brussels Threatens To Abandon Talks

After a solid nine-month stretch that was blissfully devoid of major Brexit-related news as the global COVID-19 pandemic raged on, we declared last night that Brexit talks "suddenly matter again" as the drop in the pound was blamed - incorrectly, as Bloomberg later determined - for triggering yesterday's intraday declines in US markets.

But on Friday morning, American traders awoke to some surprisingly positive trade news out of Great Britain. A trade deal with Japan had been agreed to in principle, which would - if finally ratified by both countries - allow 99% of the UK's exports to Japan to cross the border tariff-free.

What's more, the deal even gave Johnson the opportunity to gloat, as Reuters reported the digital and data provisions in the agreement went "far beyond" those in the EU's trade deal with Japan.

The deal also allowed BoJo to show voters that Brexit is already giving them new options to strike favorable free trade deals.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It will be interesting to see how the EU's financial arrangements with the UK either evolve, of devolve, after this treaty.

‘Extraordinary revelations’ over pandemic and Victoria’s lockdowns surface

Sky News host Chris Kenny says “two extraordinary revelations” surfaced on Tuesday when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic and what’s happening in Victoria.

Mr Kenny said the two revelations were “crucial” because they help put the threat of the virus in perspective and demonstrate that some of the lockdown measures in Victoria, especially the curfew, are just random, overbearing and unnecessary.

'A national advertising campaign must tell the public the truth on COVID-19’: Alan Jones

Sky News host Alan Jones says he is challenging the Morrison government to take out a national advertising campaign to tell the public the truth about the coronavirus.

“And if you are not prepared to do that, tell us why you are not prepared to do it,” Mr Jones said.

Mr Jones said an advertising campaign is needed to tell the nation there have been no deaths of anyone below the age of 30 in the country.

“Tell Australians that 99 per cent of cases are mild,” he said.

“Tell Australians that expert epidemiological advice is that lockdowns should not exist.

"Why are we not telling the people the truth?

"Or are we prepared to go on as we are with 1.3 million Australians underemployed. As of late August, two million Australians are jobless, business being crushed because we have promoted fear and alarmism and we have failed to promote the truth."

Daniel Andrews 'is an out of control menace': Bolt

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews is out of control and is a “menace” to his state and to the country as he imposes ruinous bans on people already just hanging on.

“The Victorian Premier is out of control, he’s a menace to his state,” Mr Bolt said.

“He's a menace to his country”.

“He is destroying Victoria's economy, destroying Victorian jobs, destroying the federal finances and I really fear that's it's so bad that he will now provoke civil unrest, much worse than what we saw on the weekend,” Mr Bolt said.

Mr Andrews announced on Sunday tentative dates for the easing of restrictions, should new case numbers remain low.

The Melbourne metropolitan area will continue with its stage four lockdowns until at least September 28.

Mr Bolt said the state has been “ruined by a premier who seems a megalomaniac, imposing ruinous bans”.

Australians are unaware only nine per cent of COVID deaths caused solely by virus: Jones

Sky News host Alan Jones says Australians are not being told the facts which clearly show people are dying with coronavirus, not from it.

The Department of Health released the Communicable Diseases Intelligence Report on August 22, which said “comorbidities were common in those COVID-19 cases admitted to Australian sentinel hospitals”.

“With 78 per cent recording at least one of the specified comorbidities; only nine per cent recorded no comorbidity,” the report continued.

“Why are we not being told this?”

Real cost of Andrews' 'megalomania will be the deaths caused by lockdown'

Sky News host Rowan Dean says people dying from the effects of lockdown will be the real cost of Daniel Andrews’ “megalomania and this totalitarian left-wing rule”.

His comments come regarding Daniel Andrews' recent extension of the state's lockdowns, in particular the restrictions on regional Victoria despite it having less cases than the premier said warranted such measures.

“This is an absolute travesty,” Mr Dean told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“The reality is there is no scientific evidence from anywhere around the world that lockdowns do anything to stop the virus.

“That’s the facts.

“There is plenty of evidence that lockdowns either make no difference or actually make matters worse."

Victorian doctors argue the lockdown is 'causing more harm than good'

Victorian surgeon Dr Geoffrey Wells says a growing number of doctors in the state believe the lock-down is “causing more harm than good”.

Mr Wells is one of over 500 doctors in Victoria who have signed a letter to Premier Daniel Andrews concerning the controversial State of Emergency bill which he recently pushed through parliament with crossbench support.

He said the doctors were yet to receive a reply from the Andrews government.

“What we’re seeing is that the number of referrals from general practitioners to specialists has markedly decreased, it’s probably down about 70 per cent”.

Victoria Police ‘sang a different tune’ on BLM protests

Sky News host Peta Credlin says it’s abundantly clear “we’re not in it together” anymore, especially for the pregnant Ballarat woman arrested for allegedly organising a protest on Facebook against Daniel Andrews' draconian lockdowns.

Vision has emerged of charged 28-year-old Zoe Buhler being arrested for incitement during a police raid for her alleged involvement in organising an anti-lockdown rally for Saturday.

Ms Buhler was listed as an organiser for a rally against Victoria's stage four lockdown via a Facebook post.

Ms Credlin said Victoria police “sang a different tune” when the tens of thousands of Black Lives Matter activists protested through the streets of Melbourne.

On June 3 the assistant commissioner said police would “exercise their discretion” when issuing fines, but only three were in fact issued despite the massive crowd.

'People we didn't elect are running our country': Murray

Sky News host Paul Murray says when it comes to COVID-19, people nobody elected are running our country.

Mr Murray said under the cover of COVID-19, the health bureaucrats, are not only giving advice, but have been giving elected leaders, not only advice, but permission to make decisions.

In the past week, Australian chief health officers rejected Agriculture Minister David Littleproud’s code allowing agricultural workers to freely cross the border if they needed to do so for work purposes.

“Under cover of COVID, who actually runs the joint has changed,” Mr Murray said.

“We need to tell the people that we elect, that our role is not just as the idiot tax payer, we are the people who want to see our families, who want to mourn our dead, who want to support other businesses, who want to be able to freely move to do our businesses.

“Who is in charge of this country right now.”

What Australia is facing 'is not a recession but a catastrophe': Alan Jones

Sky News host Alan Jones says what Australia is facing is not a recession but rather a catastrophe which no one in the government “has any clue how to get out of”.

“I don't think anyone in the government has any clue how we get out of this,” Mr Jones said.

“This is the worst economic blow since World War Two, the largest fall in GDP, seven per cent since records began in 1959.

“The only thing we know is that they put us here.

"It is not a recession; it is a catastrophe.

“The response to this coronavirus has been prompted by alarmist chief medical officers who have ignored international evidence; politicians who've refused to lead but rather follow; and hysterical modelling, which has now been totally discredited”.

Andrews 'must go tonight' after horrible example of 'inexcusable powers': Jones

Sky News host Alan Jones says Daniel Andrews’ grab for power and disdain of accountability has forced Victorians to behaviour designed to re-take their freedoms, as footage emerges of a pregnant woman arrested for ‘incitement’.

“The only person guilty of incitement is the Premier of Victoria,” Mr Jones said.

The Victorian woman was arrested in front of her children on charges of ‘incitement’ after allegedly organising an anti-lockdown protest.

“This woman is a victim of the inexcusable and unlimited powers given to the Victorian police,” Mr Jones said.

“The verbal and intimidatory behaviour towards a pregnant mother is a form of violence the like of which no Australian will tolerate.

“Go Daniel Andrews, and go tonight. Before more damage is done.”

Authored by Pepe Escobar via The Saker blog (originally posted at The Asia Times),

Beijing-Moscow is already on; Berlin-Beijing is a work in progress; the missing but not distant link is Berlin-Moscow..

We have seen how China is meticulously planning all its crucial geopolitical and geoeconomic moves all the way to 2030 and beyond.

What you are about to read next comes from a series of private, multilateral discussions among intel analysts, and may helpfully design the contours of the Big Picture.

In China, it’s clear the path ahead points to boosting internal demand, and shifting monetary policy towards the creation of credit to consolidate the building of world-class domestic industries.

Unfortunately, Western politicians cannot see their way past a 4 year election cycle, which is a definite disadvantage in imagining how the "longer game" may well play out for lots of prosperity for a lot of people.

Shinzo Abe, Japan's Longest-Serving Postwar Leader, Resigns As Health Deteriorates

Following repeated hospitalizations over the past few weeks stemming from a flareup of his chronic ulcerative colitis, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe officially resigned Friday morning, marking the end of Abe's reign - the longest of any postwar Japanese leader.

Japanese stocks plunged on the news, with the Nikkei 225 falling from 23310 to 22678 within minutes of the first headline, before bouncing off the lows. Abe has no clear successor, and his resignation is expected to set off a heated contest for the premiership at a time when Japan is struggling from the delayed 2020 Olympics and a coronavirus outbreak that refuses to fade.

Party Secretary General for the Upper House of the Diet Hiroshige Seko said that Abe had decided to resign so his health wouldn't "cause trouble." The PM, whose term officially ends in September 2021, is expected to stay on until a new party leader is elected and approved by Japan's parliament, the National Diet.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would suggest, that there is a lot more than "tummy troubles", guiding this resignation.

Australia’s answer to Mao wants to extend his state of emergency for another YEAR. This should frighten anyone who values liberty

Victoria’s Dan Andrews has brought in some of the most draconian Covid-19 lockdown restrictions on the planet and now wants the right to keep them in place for a further 12 months. This public health tyranny needs to be stopped.

I regret to report that Melbourne’s answer to Mao Zedong has decided that he really rather enjoys being able to tell people exactly what they have to do and has no intention of stopping any time soon. Chairman, sorry, Premier Dan Andrews of Victoria is trying to railroad a bill through the legislature that would allow him to keep the current state of emergency going for another 12 months.

Australia’s second most populous city has already been in a state of emergency for six months, meaning that if he gets his way he will have been free to run the place like his own private penal colony for 18 months.

Pompeo seeks to flood West Asia with arms, defies US own laws: Iran FM

Iran’s foreign minister says his American counterpart, Mike Pompeo, is trying to “flood our region” with all kinds of US weapons even when his country’s own laws prohibit such a measure.

Mohammad Javad Zarif’s comments came in a Monday tweet after Pompeo said earlier the same day and following his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem al-Quds that the US will find a way to balance helping its military ally, the United Arab Emirates, without weakening Israel’s qualitative military edge (QME).

Pompeo’s remarks came amid controversy over whether the US will sell F-35 stealth jets to Abu Dhabi, after the Emirati officials unveiled their plan to totally normalize their country’s relations with Israel.

“The US has legal requirements with respect to the QME, and we will respect that,” Pompeo said, adding, “We have a 20-plus year security relationship with the UAE as well.”

'No jab, no play' the wrong approach to COVID-19 vaccine, doctors warn

Doctors are urging governments not to compel Australians to get a COVID-19 vaccine, warning the fast-tracked approval process could create a risk of harmful side effects.

Australian Medical Association President Omar Khorshid said while the peak body was "very supportive of vaccination generally because of its extensive science behind the safety, it's not going to be the case for a COVID vaccine, at least initially."

Dr Khorshid said tying vaccination to access to services such as childcare, school or social security payments, as state and federal governments do with paediatric vaccines under 'no jab, no play' and 'no jab, no pay' laws, could not be justified with a brand new COVID-19 vaccine.

"We have to acknowledge it is a rushed approval process and even if the phase three trials on this Oxford vaccine go really well, it's still not absolutely proven that it is safe, not as proven as is normally the case," he said.

Washington’s Role in Thailand’s “Student Protests”, Destabilize Thailand, Undermine Thai-Chinese Relations

The Southeast Asian Kingdom of Thailand has tilted too far toward China for Washington’s liking.

The country – with nearly 70 million people and the second largest economy in Southeast Asia – counts China as its biggest trade partner, its largest source of foreign direct investment, the largest source of tourism with China providing more tourists per year than all Western nations combined, and a key partner in developing infrastructure including the already under-construction China-Laos-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore high-speed rail link that will only further cement these ties.

Thailand is also replacing its aging US military hardware with Chinese alternatives including Chinese-made main battle tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, naval vessels including the Kingdom’s first modern submarines, and jointly developed projects like the DTI-1 multiple rocket launcher system. Thailand and China have also conducted joint military exercises in recent years.

No jab, no JOB: Bosses demand the right to sack their workers if they refuse to get a coronavirus vaccine when one is available in Australia - and powerful unions look set to back them

Prime Minister Scott Morrison this week announced the government had signed a memorandum of understanding with pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca Australia to secure the promising Oxford University vaccine candidate.

The government hopes the coronavirus vaccine will reach Australia by early next year and wants 95 per cent of people to get the jab.

Mr Morrison said he would like to make the vaccine 'as mandatory as possible' but does not have the power to make it compulsory.

The Council of Small Business Organisations Australia has since proposed law changes that would give employers the power to sack workers who refuse the jab.

'If one of my staff members says, "no, I'm against it", then I'm going to have to say, I'm sorry then, you are a threat to my business',' Council CEO Peter Strong told 7News.

Exposing US Color Revolution in Thailand Aimed at China

The Western media was quick to decry the arrest of 34 year-old lawyer Anon Nampa who has been leading recent anti-government protests in Thailand.

Articles like, “Two protesters arrested, more sought,” noted Anon Nampa faces charges including sedition. The Western media cites an organization – Thai Lawyers for Human Rights (TLHR) – noting its role in advocating for Anon Nampa’s release, but never notes that Anon Nampa himself works for TLHR or who funds and supports TLHR.

TLHR and the Protests it Leads Are US-Funded – Funding the Media Refuses to Mention

TLHR was created out of the US Embassy in 2014 just two days after a coup ousted the US-backed client regime of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra – sister of fugitive billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra. TLHR has since protested both the coup and reforms enacted to ensure such a client regime could no longer take power.

The Jakarta Method: How The U.S. Used Mass Murder To Beat Communism

Indonesia was considered especially crucial during the 1960s as one of the leading non-aligned countries with the largest communist party outside the USSR and China. U.S. officials saw it as a “prize” far more valuable than South Vietnam, and in 1965-66 it was violently yanked into the U.S. orbit by mass murder. The Indonesian military under Suharto and its auxiliaries carried out mass killings against communists and suspected communists, and they murdered up to one million innocent people for nothing more than their presumed political affiliations.

Madness in Melbourne

Melbourne, that glorious city in the state of Victoria in Australia, granted me some of the best travel days of my life during two separate trips each lasting a full week.

A happy, civilized, highly educated people are here living amidst modern architecture, inspiring bridges, and natural beauty, a place where even the police are kind, and when you ask them for directions they reply with a smile, and when you say thank you, they say “No worries.”

Now there are big worries in Melbourne.

The Premier has imposed a vicious police state without precedent in this country’s history. His name is Dan Andrews (a sweet-sounding name that masks the tyrant he has become), and he tweets out pictures of empty streets to brag about what he has achieved in the name of suppressing a virus.

Tacitus’s line about the Roman empire comes to mind: “Where they make a desert, they call it peace.”

Is reconciliation between Armenia and Azerbaijan possible or is another war looming?

Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan remain tense after a recent escalation of border hostilities. Is there a solution to the decades-long conflict or will it lead to another bloody war between these former Soviet republics?
Last week, units deployed at the Russian 102nd Military Base in Armenia conducted training exercises that involved over 1,500 troops and 500 vehicles and hardware such as MiG-29 fighter jets and Mi-24P and Mi-8MTV helicopters.

Just across the border, Azerbaijan is currently holding large-scale tactical exercises with Turkey. Military formations and units from both countries are practicing high-alert combat readiness.

On Verge Of Six-Week Shuttering, Australian Small Businesses Beg: We Can't Survive Another Lockdown

The reality on the ground in Australia is that many small businesses were struggling even before the coronavirus lockdowns began. Now, with the country on the verge of what Financial Review is calling "Lockdown 2.0", it could be the last straw for many businesses.

Nellerichal ‘‘Sree’’ Sreeju, who owns a gift shop in Richmond said: "It was already hard and this has made it five times harder. It’s really uncertain."

He represents a microcosm of businesses in Australia who are begging for some sanity after the country has announced that "non-essential" retailers will once again have to close, starting at midnight on Wednesday this week.

South China Sea: beware of US ‘sabotage’, Beijing warns Southeast Asia

China’s Ambassador to the Philippines has urged Southeast Asian countries to be on guard against US attempts to “sabotage” the region’s stability by inserting itself into the South China Sea disputes.

The comments by Huang Xilian follow a hardening of Washington’s position on China’s claims in the sea and come after an op-ed in which his American counterpart, Sung Kim, declared Washington’s support for Manila in the “West Philippines Sea”. This is the term Manila uses to refer to the portion of the South China Sea it claims as part of its exclusive economic zone (EEZ), and includes areas claimed by Beijing.

F-35 Stealth Jets "Elephant Walk" In Japan Amid Rising Sino-US Trade Tensions

On the same day White House trade advisor Peter Navarro told Fox News the trade deal with China is "over" (and immediately, the White House reversed Navarro's comments because of market gyrations) - a massive show off force, likely directed at China, took place Monday at a Japanese airbase involving stealth fighter jets.

Navarro's comments suggest the phase one trade deal is trouble. It also signals tensions are rising between both countries over the origins of COVID-19 and China's assertion of power over Hong Kong. At the moment, China is lagging significantly behind phase one targets it promised, and as we've noted, Chinese buyers ditched U.S. markets for Brazilian ones.

Now it's hard to say if around the time Navarro made the comments that a fleet of warplanes conducting an "elephant walk" at the Misawa base in Japan was connected - but it certainly implies tensions are heating up.

China threatens to ATTACK Taiwan: One of Beijing's most senior generals warns the military will use force if there is no other way to stop island becoming independent

Li Zuocheng told Beijing's Great Hall of People today: 'The people's armed forces will take all necessary steps to resolutely smash any separatist plots or actions'

It is very rare for such a senior figure to make such a public threat against Taiwan

Beijing claims Taiwan, but the island democracy refutes it is part of China
It comes as China is cracking down on Hong Kong's democratic powers

China will attack Taiwan if there is no other way of stopping it from becoming independent, one of the country's most senior generals said today.

Li Zuocheng, chief of the Joint Staff Department and member of the Central Military Commission told Beijing's Great Hall of the People: 'If the possibility for peaceful reunification is lost, the people's armed forces will, with the whole nation, including the people of Taiwan, take all necessary steps to resolutely smash any separatist plots or actions.'

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, a note of caution here; we do not have the troop strength; the weaponry; the money; or the manufacturing to achieve a positive outcome to a a potential war with China over Taiwan (or Hong Kong, for that matter).

Please; you have some intense domestic wounds to heal, both economically and societally, before you can even contemplate a war with China right now.

And I can guarantee you, sir, that doing so will NOT increase your chances for an electoral victory come this November; this country is too war-scarred, war-weary, and war-sceptical, to think that such a war would even be worth the effort right now, no matter how much China-bashing we see going on in the media today.

Face masks are too dangerous for children under two and make it too difficult for them to breathe, Japanese experts warn

The Japan Paediatric Association has advised parents not to place masks on infants under two - despite Japan's coronavirus guidelines urging every individual to wear a mask.

In a leaflet issued to the Japanese public the medical body warned that infants could experience an increased burden on their lungs due to the covering of their mouths, reports CNN.

They added that the masks also obstruct the child's face, making it more difficult for parents to notice changes in expression or the colour to the face which could indicate breathing issues.

China's Exploiting The COVID-19 Pandemic To Expand In Asia

While the rest of the world is preoccupied with tackling the coronavirus pandemic, China is intensifying its efforts to extend its influence in the South China Sea by intimidating its Asian neighbours.

The arrival of China's Liaoning aircraft carrier, together with five accompanying warships, in the South China Sea earlier this month has resulted in a significant increase in tensions in the Asia-Pacific region as Beijing seeks to take advantage of the coronavirus pandemic to flex its muscles.

So far in April, there were claims that a Chinese coast guard vessel deliberately rammed and sank a Vietnamese fishing boat operating close to the disputed Paracel Islands. All the fishermen survived and were transferred to two other Vietnamese fishing vessels operating nearby.

TAIWAN: No Lockdowns, No Closed Businesses, Non-WHO Member, And Relatively Unaffected By COVID-19

Johns Hopkins University had predicted that Taiwan would have the second most COVID-19 cases in the world, due to its close proximity to Mainland China.

But astonishingly, in spite of being only 80 miles from the coast of China with over 400,000 of its 24 million citizens working in China, as of mid-April, the country only had 400 cases of COVID-19, and only 6 deaths. And the vast majority of their 400 cases came into the country from abroad.

All of this has happened without shutting down the country with lock downs, and with almost all of its businesses continuing to operate.

Two U.S. warships in South China Sea amid China-Malaysia standoff

KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (Reuters) - Two U.S. warships are operating in the South China Sea, the Navy said on Tuesday, with three regional security sources saying they were near an area of a standoff between China and Malaysia.

The Haiyang Dizhi 8, a Chinese government research ship, was spotted last week conducting a survey close to an exploration vessel operated by Malaysia's state oil company Petronas, months after it undertook a similar patrol off Vietnam.

The incident prompted the United States to call on China to stop its "bullying behaviour" in the disputed waters, citing concern over Beijing's provocative actions towards offshore oil and gas developments there.

The U.S. State Department has said China was taking advantage of the region's focus on the coronavirus pandemic to "coerce its neighbours".

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, a word, please; a war with China is the very last thing this country needs right now; you have people hurting, and wondering if they will EVER work again in this country.

And of course, China has upped the ante, with the following statements reported this morning at sputnik.com: Beijing warns that any attempt to Deny China's Sovereignty in the South China See, is doomed to fail.

Also, there is a potential massive end-run happening around Joe Biden before November's election.

Myanmar strikes kill 32, mostly women and children: UN

The United Nations said air strikes by Myanmar's military and insurgents have killed at least 32 civilians, mostly women and children, Reuters reported on Friday, adding that troops have also been destroying homes and schools.

The air strikes were conducted amid intensified clashes between the army and insurgents in Myanmar's Rakhine and Chin states. Rakhine state is home to the country's Muslim Rohingya population, which has long been subjected to state persecution and genocide.

Shocking! US gave $3.7 million to China's Wuhan lab that conducted coronavirus tests on bats

The US government had reportedly funded $3.7 million to the Chinese laboratory in Wuhan which has been at the centre of speculations surrounding coronavirus outbreak.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology is believed to have conducted coronavirus experiments on mammals captured from the caves of Yunnan, China, with the US money.

According to documents obtained by British media outlet Daily Mail, scientists there experimented on bats as part of a project funded by the US National Institutes of Health, which continues to licence the Wuhan laboratory to receive American money for experiments.

Confucius Is Winning the Covid-19 War

As the Raging Twenties unleash a radical reconfiguration of the planet, coronavirus (literally “crowned poison”) has for all practical purposes served a poisoned chalice of fear and panic to myriad, mostly Western, latitudes.

Berlin-based, South Korean-born philosopher Byung-Chul Han has forcefully argued the victors are the

“Asian states like Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Singapore that have an authoritarian mentality which comes from their cultural tradition [of] Confucianism.”

Han added:

“People are less rebellious and more obedient than in Europe. They trust the state more. Daily life is much more organized. Above all, to confront the virus Asians are strongly committed to digital surveillance. The epidemics in Asia are fought not only by virologists and epidemiologists, but also by computer scientists and big data specialists.”

Japan To Spend Billions Relocating Production Out Of China

Japan has allocated $2.2 billion (US) of its $993 billion emergency stimulus package to help manufacturers relocate production out of China amid the COVID-19 pandemic which began in the communist nation.

According to SCMP, $2 billion (US) will be set aside for companies shifting production back to Japan, while roughly $223.5 million will be spent on helping companies move production to other countries, according to SCMP.

Under normal circumstances, China is Japan's largest trading partner - however imports from China plummeted nearly 50% in February as the coronavirus pandemic resulted in closed factories and unfilled orders.

That Flu You Caught? It Came from East and Southeast Asia

Over the years this was my observation. I remember the Hong Kong Flu. Comedians made jokes about it on Johnny Carson. The Beverley Hillbillies did a show on it that was really funny. It was almost a status symbol to have had it and it killed I think a couple of million people worldwide.

An international team of scientists has determined the itinerary of the seasonal flu, paving the way for better monitoring and more effective vaccines.

The researchers report in Science that they sussed out the bug's travel plans by studying 13,000 samples of the virus collected from every continent (except Antarctica) over the past five years.

Coronavirus Missives from the Philippines, USA, France, Lebanon and Germany

In Singapore, you can be jailed for half a year for failing to keep “social distance.” The same offense in New York will only get you fined for up to $500, although an 86-year-old woman has just been killed when she got too close to someone at a Brooklyn hospital. Out of masks, Tennessee doctors strap diapers on their faces.

On March 29th, 2020, 756 Italians died from the coronavirus, and that’s considered encouraging news, believe it or not, since 919 lost their lives on the 27th. Half of the world is in lockdown, and should this drag on, riots will certainly break out, since billions can’t just stay indoors as their food runs out, if it hasn’t already.

Here in Busan, people still mingle, talk and laugh, but schools remain closed, and the baseball season won’t start until April, if that. There are no more international flights from here. Two weeks ago, I could still fly to Saipan or Vladivostok, which is so close, but Russia has just sealed its borders, as has China.

A Vicious Disease Is Wiping Out China’s Pig Population

Of all the 900 million pigs being raised on farms around the world today, more than 400 million are in China. Pork is so central to the Chinese diet — especially as the country has grown wealthier — that menus there often list pork as simply “meat,” and the amount of pork eaten in China exceeds all the meat Americans consume annually. Now, a global epidemic called African swine fever (ASF) is wreaking havoc in China — the country that produces and consumes the most pork in the world.

Coronavirus Scaremongering, US-China Economic Rivalry. The Geopolitics of an Unfolding Global Crisis

An underlying theme behind the Western political and media focus on the coronavirus, is to damage and undermine China’s international standing, the country where this disease is commonly purported to have spread forth from. Prominent American politicians like Mike Pompeo, the US Secretary of State, have publicly labelled this disease as “the Wuhan coronavirus”, in an attempt to harm China’s reputation and lay the blame at Beijing’s door.

Throughout this century, China has represented the main threat to American global hegemony, and this threat to US power has gradually been growing as elites in the West are only too aware. The coronavirus, whose spectre is being exaggerated by the establishment, provides an excuse to tighten the choke-hold on China.

Health Inheritance: Asians Have Lower Vitamin C Blood Levels; More Prone To Coronavirus & Other Infections

Physicians in Wuhan, China, the epicenter for COVID-19 coronavirus that is now infecting human populations around the globe, report a shortage of test kits for this infectious pathogen. But maybe doctors rather than test for a virus ought to be testing for a viral vulnerability factor – an unstable form of haptoglobin (HAPTO-G), genetically prevalent in Asian populations.

What is haptoglobin? (hap-tow-glow-bin) This blood protein binds to hemoglobin, the red protein in red blood cells that carries both oxygen and iron. By virtue of its binding power, haptoglobin mops up hemoglobin and loose iron when red blood cells die off so as to limit the availability of potentially destructive unbound iron.

Out of three types of haptoglobin (HAPTO-G), one type doesn’t bind as well to hemoglobin, releases excess iron which then increases iron-induced oxidation (rusting), and increases oxidation (hardening) of cholesterol and degradation of vitamin C.

Coronavirus: Remember the “Fake” 2009 H1N1 Swine Flu Pandemic: Manipulating the Data to Justify a Worldwide Public Health Emergency

Author’s Introduction

On January 30th 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) in relation to China’s novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) categorized as a viral pneumonia. The virus outbreak was centred in the city of Wuhan, a city in Eastern China with a population in excess of 11 million.

In the week prior to January 30th decision, the WHO Emergency Committee “expressed divergent views”. There were visible divisions within the Committee. On January 30th, a far-reaching decision was taken in an irresponsible fashion without the support of expert opinion at a time when the coronavirus outbreak was limited to Mainland China.

Who Made Coronavirus? Was It the U.S., Israel or China?

The most commonly reported mainstream media account of the creation of the Coronavirus suggests that it was derived from an animal borne microorganism found in a wild bat that was consumed by an ethnic Chinese resident of Wuhan. But there appears to be some evidence to dispute that in that adjacent provinces in China, where wild bats are more numerous, have not experienced major outbreaks of the disease. Because of that and other factors, there has also been considerable speculation that the Coronavirus did not occur naturally through mutation but rather was produced in a laboratory, possibly as a biological warfare agent.

China’s Coronavirus: A Shocking Update. Did The Virus Originate in the US?

The Western media quickly took the stage and laid out the official narrative for the outbreak of the new coronavirus which appeared to have begun in China, claiming it to have originated with animals at a wet market in Wuhan.

In fact the origin was for a long time unknown but it appears likely now, according to Chinese and Japanese reports, that the virus originated elsewhere, from multiple locations, but began to spread widely only after being introduced to the market.

More to the point, it appears that the virus did not originate in China and, according to reports in Japanese and other media, may have originated in the US.

Coronavirus: High Recovery Rates in China. Most Recent Figures

Western media hype: Fear and panic, disruption of the global economy, that makes the headlines.

But not a word is mentioned that the COVID-19 in China is under control, people are being treated in hospitals and they are recovering.

On February 28, China reported 36,157 out of a total of 78,961 reported cases as having recovered.

China has reported (March 1st) a 52.1 percent recovery rate, which signifies that more than half of the patients (confirmed cases) have been discharged from the hospitals. And the Chinese hospitals (which are very strict) will not release them if they are still infected or could transmit the COVID-19 coronavirus.

What this means is that the number of “reported infected cases” in China (80 304) (WHO data, March 3, 2020) has fallen to less than 40,000. But that does not make the headlines.

WHO Urges People To Go Cashless Because “Dirty Banknotes Can Spread The Virus”

Are you people starting to figure this out yet? Can you see where this is going?

By Tyler Durden

It looks like the Chinese started something…

Following reports that Beijing had “quarantined” dirty cash, the WHO warned on Monday that the virus could survive on banknotes, potentially spreading Covid-19 within communities, and across the world. To reduce the risk of being infected by money, the NGO advised citizens in countries struggling with outbreaks to favor digital payments when possible, the Daily Telegraph reported.

That the WHO is telling the public to avoid cash is hardly a surprise: research has found that coronaviruses have been found to live on surfaces for as long as 9 days.

14% of recovered coronavirus patients in China's Guangdong tested positive again

Did you ever have chicken pox? It stays in your nervous system forever. Comes back as Shingles. If you have open blisters you can transmit the virus as chicken pox. If the other person exposed to your shingles has had chicken pox it will stimulate their immunity against getting shingles.

(CAIXIN GLOBAL) - About 14 per cent of patients who recovered from the novel coronavirus and were discharged from hospitals in southern China's Guangdong province were tested positive again in later check-ups, according to the local health authority.

A positive test suggests the recovered patients may still carry the virus, adding complexity to efforts to control the outbreak.
